Just a note that CO2 – An Insignificant Trace Gas? – Part One has been significantly rewritten.
There’s probably too not much of interest for regular readers, as I’ve taken material from more recent posts to replace the old.
And I didn’t try to cover the 500 different reasons why people think CO2 IS an insignificant trace gas..
This invitation is off-topic but I’ll submit it nevertheless.
As a generalist, I’m writing an introductory survey on sea level rise. To make sure that I don’t stray too far off the scientific reservation, I’m always looking for readers (though I can’t pay them anything).
If you might want to read and give me your brutal comments on the three sections of this book now available in a clean draft, please let me know, off-list, at huntjanin@aol.com.
These sections deal with (1) the IPCC, (2) a primer on global warming, and (3) why sea level rise is important. Taken collectively, they run to about 45 double spaced pages. Since they are aimed at the “educated general reader,” I don’t think they will put too much of an intellectual strain on you.
Best,
Hunt Janin
